Incredible food, really engaging entertainment - a brilliant summary of what it means to be Welsh.
— Aidan Singh, Cardiff

The Welsh House is an independent regional restaurant & bar showcasing the very best food and drink from within Wales right in the heart of the city centre serving locally produced, fresh, flavoursome dishes experienced in a comfortable relaxed environment.

On the Taste of Wales menu - a delicious 3-course meal at the Welsh House followed by an evening of light-hearted entertainment celebrating all things Welsh. Loosely based on the traditional Music, Poems & Pints evening – this contemporary event includes beautiful and well-known music, a limerick competition, not-too-serious poetry and the ever-popular Welshisms.

It was a lovely mix of light-hearted, good-humoured entertainment. Nothing too stuffy. A lovely offer of Welsh food and drink, and the entertainment was perfectly pitched.
— Nia Hollins, Vale of Glamorgan

No Taste of Wales event would be complete without some Single Malt Welsh Whisky and so Penderyn is delighted to be part of these events - they are a great way to sample our food, drink and culture.
— Stephen Davies, Chief Executive, Penderyn Distillery
